George Comfort & Sons' Jodi Gutierrez Named Director of Southern Connecticut BOMA
Jodi Gutierrez, VP of Property Management for George Comfort & Sons, one of the region's oldest and largest real estate firms, has been named Director of the Southern Connecticut Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Gutierrez is the on-site property manager for George Comfort & Sons' High Ridge Park Corporate Center in Stamford.

(PRWEB) March 13, 2008 -- Jodi Gutierrez, VP of Property Management for George Comfort & Sons, one of the region's oldest and largest real estate firms, has been named Director of the Southern Connecticut Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Gutierrez is the on-site property manager for George Comfort & Sons' High Ridge Park Corporate Center in Stamford.
A local chapter of BOMA International, Southern Connecticut BOMA serves the commercial real estate industry from New Haven County to Fairfield County. The association's 120 members are comprised of property owners and managers, architects, engineers, and vendors that supply products and services to the real estate community.
Gutierrez, who has worked for George Comfort & Sons for the past fourteen years, is licensed to practice real estate in both New York and Connecticut. She is on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester and is a member of the President's Council of Northern Westchester Hospital Center. Gutierrez has also served as a past president of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she has received awards of recognition from the March of Dimes and the Mt. Kisco Lions Club for her volunteer efforts.

During her two-year term as director, Gutierrez will serve on the Program Committee, helping to determine monthly programs and events that will continue to improve the commercial real estate industry in southern Connecticut. As board representative for the TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) Award Gala, she will take on an active planning role. The gala, held every October, celebrates TOBY award recipients who are recognized for quality in office buildings and excellence in office building management, operation efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact.
