Two JIST Titles Receive Medals at the Axiom Book Awards

Another JIST success was When Your Parents Sign the Paychecks by Greg McCann which took Bronze in the same category. Double Outsiders, published by JIST Publishing in 2007, is the first book of its kind to discuss the barriers that women of color may face along their career path and help overcome them. It analyzes the critical success factors of professional women of color, provides resources, and offers insight into one of the fastest-growing employee demographics.

When Your Parents Sign the Paychecks, also published by JIST in 2007, shows members of the next generation in a family business how to take charge of their own career paths, whether it be in the family business or not. Awards were presented on Monday, March 10, 2008, in midtown Manhattan at the offices of the Axiom Awards P.R. sponsor, Padilla Speer Beardsley.
