The Web Marketing Association awarded hfa (Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc.), a full-service marketing communications agency based in Akron, Ohio, attained six prominent awards for their paramount work in Web site design. In its 11th year, the WebAwards is the premier annual Web site award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industry categories.
This year's competition included more than 2,400 site entries from 40 countries. hfa was prestigiously recognized with WebAwards for their work on Dunlop, Veritas, Carter Lumber, Goodyear and Greater Akron Chamber Web sites. There are three different levels that can be achieved: Best Web site of Industry, Outstanding Web site and Standard of Excellence.
hfa earned two Outstanding Web site WebAwards, which recognize work that goes above and beyond the industry's standard of excellence, for their creativity in designing the Dunlop Driver's Seat (http://www.dunloptires.com/driversseat) and Veritas (http://www.veritasideas.com) Web sites.
hfa also received four Standard of Excellence WebAwards, acknowledging work that meets the standard of excellence which all Web sites should strive for, in the categories of Home Building, Diversified Business, Media and Associations. hfa's diligence in the creation of Web sites for Carter Lumber (http://www.carterlumber.com), Goodyeartires.com, Goodyear Marketing Zone (http://www.goodyearmarketingzone.com) and Greater Akron Chamber (http://www.greaterakronchamber.org) earned them honors in these categories.
