.Asia Landrush closed yesterday with half a Million Domain Name applications, a majority of which were submitted by AsiaDNS.

DotAsia Organisation has announced today that the total domain registration applications received during the Landrush period reached 473,633. The number of applications totals over half a million, including Sunrise and .Asia Pioneer Domains.
The top registrar in the .Asia Landrush was EuroDNS/AsiaDNS (www.asiadns.asia). Frederick Schiwek, EVP of AsiaDNS comments, “.Asia opened great opportunities for AsiaDNS. .Asia registry will Go Live on March 26, and domain names will be available on a First-Come-First-Served basis.
