CoreNet Global & BrightWave Marketing are Selected as 2008 AMY Awards Finalists

BrightWave Marketing and client CoreNet Global 's Remarketing Email Campaign has been named a 2008 Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards finalist in the E-mail Marketing -- e-Commerce E-mail Program category. The AMY Awards is the annual awards program presented by the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 18, 2008 -- BrightWave Marketing is pleased to announce that a Remarketing Email Campaign submitted on behalf of client CoreNet Global has been named a 2008 Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards finalist in the E-mail Marketing -- e-Commerce E-mail Program category.

CoreNet Global, an Atlanta-based association of 7,000 corporate real estate and workplace executives chose an email marketing campaign recommended by BrightWave Marketing to meet its aggressive revenue and event registration goals. BrightWave Marketing, a premiere email services firm specializing in the strategic optimization of email programs, created and managed the strategic remarketing campaign designed to increase online registrations for CoreNet Global's Annual Summit. Together, BrightWave and CoreNet Global achieved this through cost effective and highly targeted email deployments that segmented both the company's member and prospect audiences.

The strategy "remarketed" to those individuals who showed interest, demonstrated by clicking on a link in the body of the emails, in the event but had not yet registered. This was accomplished by creating unique messaging for the targeted campaigns based on recipient behavior and converted the "hottest leads" as indicated by email metrics from an initial campaign deployment. The campaign was a ground breaking success.

Highlights of the campaign results:

Achieved a 37% Open Rate and a 19% Click Though Rate
Generated $119,567 in incremental revenue
Resulted in a 3,886% return on investment
Redesigned creative lifted response rate between 100-350%
Overall event registration was 11% higher than planned

"CoreNet Global couldn't be happier that BrightWave Marketing helped us exceed our very aggressive goals, said Eric Bowles, Vice President, CoreNet Global. "The campaign results were far above our expectations and resulted in a similar campaign being included for all future events," Bowles added.

"We are very proud of our work and ongoing relationship with CoreNet Global," commented Simms Jenkins, CEO of BrightWave Marketing. "They embraced this strategy and the results were very powerful. This is an excellent example of how to develop targeted and relevant email campaigns that leverage campaign analytics."

AMY Award recipients will be announced at the AMY Awards gala to be held at the fabulous Fox Theatre in Midtown Atlanta on Thursday, March 27, 2008.

The AMY Awards is the annual awards program presented by the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association. Finalist entries were selected by an independent panel of judges on February 23, 2008 for the delivery of results, the impact on business objectives and the successful execution of marketing best practices.

The competition was open to corporate and agency marketing professionals in Georgia and rewards marketing programs that help build and grow businesses. With more than 130 entries submitted by more than 40 marketing and public relations agencies on behalf of 72 organizations, the 2008 edition of the AMY Awards highlights the wealth of talent and the vibrancy of the marketing community in Georgia.
