Carefx demonstrated a high degree of performance within the Single Sign-On / Context Management study either leading or tying in 18 of the 40 performance indicators that KLAS tracks, as evaluated by healthcare provider customers
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) March 16, 2008
Carefx Corporation today announced that it received the highest percentage of positive commentary in a report from KLAS titled "Single Sign-On Context Management", 2008 for customer satisfaction and the quality and reliability of its Fusion healthcare interoperability platform. The KLAS report, published in February, is the first time that the leading, independent healthcare IT researcher has examined and ranked vendors of single sign-on and context management solutions. Scores were based on interviews with 160 healthcare providers.
According to the KLAS report, all of Carefx's clients said that they would buy Fusion again and would recommend the solution to an industry peer. Carefx clients also indicated that Fusion is considered part of their long-term technology plan. Additionally, clients unanimously said that Carefx, creator of the industry's only open and scalable information aggregation platform, keeps all the promises it makes, avoids "nickel-and-diming," and accurately estimates support costs involving Fusion. The solution provides anywhere, anytime access to comprehensive, context-sensitive and clinician-specific views of patient data housed in disparate information systems.
"Carefx demonstrated a high degree of performance within the Single Sign-On / Context Management study either leading or tying in 18 of the 40 performance indicators that KLAS tracks, as evaluated by healthcare provider customers," said Paul Pitcher, KLAS' research director and author of the report.
Andrew Hurd, president and CEO of Carefx stated, "We are pleased with our strong performance in the KLAS report. It reflects our clients' satisfaction with Fusion and re-affirms Fusion's ability to empower physicians to make informed decisions at the point of care. We are committed to continually evolving Fusion to ensure that we maintain its status as the leading solution in its class and to providing the best service in the industry."
Fusion is an interoperability platform that aggregates data from disparate sources into a unified, context-sensitive, clinically-relevant, browser-based view. By providing fast and simple access to key patient data via an intuitive interface, Fusion supports improved clinical decision-making at the point of care. Furthermore, Fusion's open architecture leverages existing clinical systems, providing healthcare organizations with a cost-effective integration solution and a proven platform to address the privacy issues involved in building RHIOs and HIEs.
