Yellowstonetreasures.com's redesign features a photo gallery, easy access to park information, and an informative geological time line. Menlo Park, CA (PRWEB) March 18, 2008 -- High gas prices and other worries may be keeping some people home, but plenty of others are planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park in 2008. A record number visited in 2007 -- over 3,150,000 -- beating the previous peak reached in 1992.

Trip planning can be made easier and more pleasant with Granite Peak Publications' popular, award-winning guidebook, Yellowstone Treasures: The Traveler's Companion to the National Park, and the newly revamped accompanying Web site, http://www.yellowstonetreasures.com [Yellowstone Treasures]. These travel aids are especially useful to people who spend more than a day or two in the park. And with so much to see, visitors more often than not find they want to return again and again.

Yellowstonetreasures.com's redesign features a photo gallery and easy access to the author's blog and park information. Articles describe places to see, from perfect picnic spots next to sparkling streams, to geyser eruptions to wait for and marvel at, short hikes to take, and tips on avoiding those three million other visitors. New to the site are a comparison of Galápagos National Park with Yellowstone and an informative geological time line.

The full-color guidebook has helped over 23,000 buyers of its two editions enhance their visits. They have found, as the owner of The Bookworm shop in West Yellowstone, Montana announced in the summer of 2007, the "Best Comprehensive Yellowstone Travel Book Ever."
