The Castle Group's Sandy Lish Named Women's Business Enterprise Star

The Castle Group, Inc., an independent Boston-based public relations and event management agency, today announced that its principal and co-founder Sandy Lish has been named a 2008 Women's Business Enterprise Star by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the leading advocate for women's businesses as suppliers to the nation's leading corporations. This list annually recognizes the professionals driving the country's outstanding women's business enterprises (WBEs) on the basis of their excellence, innovation and growth.

This list annually recognizes the professionals driving the country's outstanding women's business enterprises (WBEs) on the basis of their excellence, innovation and growth.

Lish, along with the other award winners, will be recognized on March 20, 2008 before 1,200 attendees at WBENC's annual black tie Salute to Women's Business Enterprises: The Power of Progress, which will be chaired by Microsoft.

"Each year, this program pays tribute to outstanding certified women business owners and their passion, talent and creativity," said Linda Denny, president and CEO of WBENC. "We believe putting the spotlight on their professional journey can inspire women's business enterprises worldwide."

Lish, on the merits of her work at her firm The Castle Group, a certified WBE, founded with business partner Wendy Spivak, will be recognized for her leadership in the Greater Boston business community, her work with the Center for Women and Enterprise and her inspiration to other women business owners.
