Digital View announces the launch of its ViewStream 300, a compact yet feature packed media player for retail digital signage display systems.

The ViewStream 300 media player was designed specifically for retail promotion applications with particular attention to video quality, features, size, installation, cost and reliability.

For brands this means not only a cost effective solution but also the opportunity to implement a system that is more engaging to customers than simply playing video. In addition there are functions such as data logging and reporting which tie in with the interactive functions available allowing for feedback and analysis.

The ViewStream 300 (http://www.digitalview.com/viewstream/) supports most of the common video and still image media formats with standard outputs. On the VGA and component outputs standard definition video is up-scaled to 720p and JPEG images are supported to a resolution of 1280x960.

Earlier generations of the ViewStream media player have been largely successful in the market and utilized in a wide range of brand promotion projects for products such as mobile phones, cosmetics, toys and luxury goods.
