Chester County, PA (PRWEB) March 16, 2008
On April 8, 2008, the Ladies Who Launch Incubator Intensive will debut in Chester County, PA. The workshop will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on four consecutive Tuesdays at State Farm Insurance in West Grove, PA. The Incubator leader for Chester County is Megan L. Reese. Ladies Who Launch is currently in over 50 market areas in the United States and Canada.
Ladies Who Launch provides content and community to help women start and expand their ideas, businesses and creative ventures. Through workshops, events, an e-mail newsletter, website and in-person Incubator programs, Ladies Who Launch provides a venue for motivated women to exchange products and services, ideas, and strategic relationships. Ladies Who Launch connects thousands of women to each other by giving them multiple forums in which to connect and ultimately propel their entrepreneurial visions forward in ways they may never have dreamed possible.
There are two phases to the Incubator Program: the Incubator Intensive and the Incubator Ongoing. The Incubator Intensive, which has been sweeping the nation, is a mind-shifting, four week workshop designed to expand and clarify women's visions and dreams, connect them with other like-minded women and propel them forward. The cost of the Intensive is $300. After completing the Incubator Intensive, attendees are invited to join the Incubator Ongoing which helps keep their momentum going by connecting them with Incubator graduates in their area, across the nation and beyond.
According to the Center for Women's Business Research, since 2004 women have been launching businesses at nearly three times the rate of men.
"With almost 11 million women-owned businesses in the United States today, Ladies Who Launch is the first forum to explore the feminine approach to launching -- a process that combines intuition with execution, and like-minds with big thinking," Reese says. "Designed to connect women online and in person, Ladies Who Launch is open to any woman interested in launching or expanding a business, idea or creative project. Literally any woman at any stage of her life can benefit from the Incubator!"
"The number one reason women say they start their own businesses is for freedom and flexibility, which ultimately impacts how they launch and build their businesses," says Reese. "Women typically launch in a more organic fashion than men, often moving forward without a business plan or exit strategy. Females tend to be collaborators and prefer not to go it alone. They make decisions based on their intuition, which often lends more creativity and passion to the equation."
In fact, the second most popular reason women say they launch their own businesses is for creative fulfillment. Ladies Who Launch was founded to cultivate and foster creativity and entrepreneurship as a lifestyle choice for women.
