Dot2Dot Expands Gatwick Service Round the Clock

Dot2Dot (http://www.dot2.com), London's first large scale airport transfer service connecting central London hotels with Heathrow and Gatwick airports, has announced plans to expand its service to offer door-to-door transfers between Gatwick Airport and central London to offer a round-the-clock service.

Dot2Dot (http://www.dot2.com), London's first large scale airport transfer service connecting central London hotels with Heathrow and Gatwick airports, has announced plans to expand its service to offer door-to-door transfers between Gatwick Airport and central London to offer a round-the-clock service.

The announcement means that Dot2Dot's Gatwick service, which has previously operated between 05:00 and 14:00 in order to meet the high concentration of flights arriving from North America during that period, will now run to 23:00, allowing the company to serve all flights from the airport by the end of the year.

The longer operating hours will ensure that Dot2Dot will be able to offer transfers to central London to passengers arriving from across Europe at all hours.

This is the first significant expansion of Dot2Dot's Gatwick service since launching in November last year serving over 600 central London hotels.

Paul Whitfield, managing director of Dot2Dot said, "We are extending our operating hours in response to feedback from our existing passenger base who value the speed, convenience and value of our service from Gatwick Airport. We have also seen massive interest from people travelling to and from Europe for the service."

The expanded hours are part of Dot2Dot's continuing growth. Next month the company plans to expand its door-to-door service to cover any residential address in central London.

Dot2Dot's Gatwick service combines the efficiency of the Gatwick Express train with the business class comfort of Dot2Dot's customised shuttles, which feature leather seats and generous seat pitch. Passengers are escorted to and from the station by Dot2Dot staff, and are assisted with luggage throughout the journey. By combining the Gatwick Express and Dot2Dot services, the company offers the most efficient and cost effective method of getting to and from Gatwick airport.

The service not only offers a significant saving on the cost of a taxi with prices starting from £20 per person -- including the Gatwick Express ticket- but also takes less time. There are also large discounts for group bookings.
