It began last summer at Battle In the Mix, where participating DJ's competed by remixing tracks from Miz Mandy's first album before a panel of celebrity judges. Winner of the Battle, Touvan, known for his mixing style that incorporates the harder side of electro house and hard tribal beats, introduced Miz Mandy to Steve DeParr, owner and CEO of Peak Hour Music. http://www.peakhourmusic.com/
Former Director of Promotion at both Emotive Records and Smack Music and top ten Billboard charting producer himself, Steve DeParr states, "She [Miz Mandy] has so much to offer the world and Peak Hour Music is going to harness that talent into some real dance floor hotness."
Miz Mandy and Peak Hour Music have since partnered to release eleven new remixes of her Billboard charting title track 'In The Mix' and "to help introduce the dance communities of the world to the driving force that is Miz Mandy." Steve says. "We're going to give Mandy's tracks some major reworks to leverage the many new markets that she hasn't been exposed to yet."
The compilation release set for March 20, 2008, produced by DJs from around the globe will "sport the touches of PHM heavyweights" Touvan, TsT, Tachyon and Rod Valdes as well as remixes by Jason Turbulent, Dush, LexDaFunk, Martez, Alternative Reality, "and myself." Steve adds. The Peak Hour Music 'In the Mix' remixes will initially be available exclusively on Beatport, with other online sales outlets like iTunes, Yahoo, and Amazon, to follow shortly.

Already confirmed, radio playlist detections and rotation adds on XM80 The Move, Global Radio FM (Ibiza), Radio Ibiza Unomas (Italy), Kiss FM Dubai and Kiss FM Australia, the new 'In The Mix' remixes are receiving spins from DJ's Victor Simonelli, Tim Galvin, Neil Brown, Paul Van Dyk, Phil Turnipseed, Steve Lawler and Greg Fenton. Miz Mandy and Peak Hour Music have also contracted the same deal for another pop track 'Yours'. Miz Mandy confirms, "This is one of many projects we plan to release together. We're even discussing songs from my next record expected out in May."
