(PRWEB) March 20, 2008 -- Brenda Coté, one of the most exhilarating voices in the field of Real Estate Investing today, has just released a new article on her web site. The article, 3 Tips to Keep You on the Path Toward Your Dream Real Estate Investing Career, is available for immediate download at www.transforminglivescreatingwealth.com.

In this article, Coté describes some of the common barriers that stand in women's way and shares three tips to overcome those barriers and succeed in the field of real estate investing.

"I know from personal experience that gender issues, societal issues and wanting to do everything well - the perennial myth of the superwoman - can be barriers to women who want to have successful careers in real estate investing. You have a husband, a family, and many other responsibilities, so where are you going to get the time to invest in a career and how will you juggle it all?" she asks.

Coté recommends three strategies, including get clarity/find clarity, set smart goals and create positive reinforcement.

"Start with a list of your priorities, and make sure that "you" are included in that list. Oftentimes, women forget themselves completely. You have to be at the top of your list. Then set small, attainable goals to help you achieve those priorities. Finally, assess your progress on a daily basis and give yourself the credit you deserve," she says.

Coté herself has used these methods in her own career, first as a licensed real estate and mortgage broker and now a successful private real estate investor.

"I faced these same barriers in my career, but I overcame them and found success," she said. "Start setting some small goals right now and know that an investment in yourself will pay off. You deserve it."
