The game play of CrackWhip is much like reading a magazine, yet it has an element of interactivity that has been lost from the internet since the days of telnet computing. As you play the game a completely simulated virtual reality unfolds before you. The contents of the game are a hybrid of old school telnet and news stand magazines. Other players of the game contribute to the infinitely growing story of a quest for glory and coinage.

Upon connecting to CrackWhip you will be prompted for your name. You may make up any name for the avatar which you will control. After completing the simple login process you will be in the world of CrackWhip. The lady in the wheelchair will hand you a teleporter device which you may use to teleport to various parts of the CrackWhip world.
