The Threat of Islamic Jihadists to the World is unique training course that has been expertly designed to bring world-class counter-terrorism training to First Responders and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies across the country. The sessions will feature Ebrahim Ashabi, one of America's foremost experts on radical Islam and anti-terror security practices.
Participants in this insightful, packed two-day program are taken through the formative phases of the Islamic religion, gaining an understanding of its different branches and ideologies. This foundation will serve to create a greater awareness of the role of extremism in radical Islam.
Key topics of exploration of Muslim culture include:
- Where does the hatred come from?
- Arab naming conventions
- Jihad and Jihadi culture
- The Five Pillars of Islam
- International and Domestic terror groups
As SSI President Henry Morgenstern explains, "a working knowledge of these crucial topics can help law enforcement agencies build strong, cooperative relationships with Islamic communities across the USA. These relationships can aid greatly in the detection of Islamic terror threats."
The workshop will also include hands-on activities related to recognizing suicide bombers, planning and adjusting threat response protocols, detection of fake IDs and other falsified documentation, and the basics of Islamic terror tools such as IEDs.
