"I wrote 'The Adventures of Nick the Ecologist and his Robot O-Zone’ to raise environmental awareness in young readers," Villeneuve says. "This book is an entertaining and informative look at how everyday actions affect our world."

Recognized as Publisher’s Choice and Editor’s Choice by publisher iUniverse, "The Adventures of Nick the Ecologist and his Robot O-Zone: The Mystery of the Missing Trees" is an educational and fun-to-read adventure story for children ages 7 to 11. The text and lively, captivating illustrations will teach children about ecology, ecosystems, and ecologists, as well as the universe, galaxies, planets and asteroids.

The book features Nick and his best friend O-Zone the Robot, junior ecologists learning about the delicate balance between living things and their environment. In addition to ecology, the buddies also like to explore the galaxies on the Gazoom, a solar-powered spaceship invented by Nick’s father.

When trees on the distant Planet Bark start disappearing at an alarming rate, Nick and O-Zone must solve the mystery in only three days, before they are gone forever. Readers will follow the adventurers as they fight an intergalactic battle for the sake of all planets -- and the future of children and robots everywhere.

Readers can also visit Nick and O-Zone’s official Web site at www.nickandozone.com to access puzzles, mazes and drawings.

"The Adventures of Nick the Ecologist and his Robot O-Zone: The Mystery of the Missing Trees" is available at iUniverse in hardcopy and e-book formats. The book can also be found online at Barnes and Noble, Chapters Indigo and Amazon.com.
