PLS Financial Services ("PLS"), the oldest and most distinguished privately-held organization in the check-cashing industry and IPP of America ("IPP"), a leading provider of electronic payment services today announced the implementation and roll-out of a fully integrated walk-in bill payment solution across the nationwide network of more than 100 PLS Check Cashers locations.
PLS partnered with IPP to create PLS ePay, a single bill payment application that will be used in all PLS locations. With PLS ePay, a customer will be able to pay bills with cash at any PLS Check Cashers. The cash payment will be converted to an electronic payment through the IPP payment processing system, and the customer will receive immediate confirmation that the bill has been paid. PLS ePay is expected to be fully deployed in April 2008. IPP's flexible application programming interface enabled PLS to easily integrate with IPP's payment processing engine. In addition, IPP is providing expanded bi-lingual customer support for PLS bill-payment inquiries.
