"After seeing the 2008 spring trends at Fashion Week, I realized that I could incorporate cool styles and colors with athletic fabrics to create cute golf clothing for women," Blake said.
Designers such as Rock & Republic, Zac Posen, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli and Emporio Armani established the trend of metallic and bright colors, as well.
"I was tired of seeing the same old floral prints and pastels," Blake said. "I wanted to make women's golf clothing that was athletic and made with performance fabrics without losing the fashion appeal of the apparel."
The 2008 line of Tracey Lynn women's golf clothing includes capris, skorts, sleeveless and sleeved shirts, pants, jackets and accessories to match.
"I'm creating golf clothing that is fashionable and functional for the female golfer. Whether you play three times a week or three times a season, I guarantee my clothing will have other golfers asking about your outfit and not your score," Blake said.
