After two years of selling their merchandise at open air markets and bazaars, Lisa and Rick Carpenick have opened http://www.XactlyDifrent.com to share their wares with the world. Combining the quality of their merchandise and the user-friendliness of their new blog at http://www.XactlyDifrent.net, they have smoothly transitioned from home to Internet.

Lisa and Rick Carpenick have been selling merchandise at swap meets and open markets for two years, occasionally distributing to other businesses and merchants, but now they have taken their business online. The recent opening of http://www.XactlyDifrent.com marks the beginning of the duo's existence as an online entity, selling figurines, decorations, and crafts to a wider market.

"We like the outdoors, and we appreciate good-looking stuff," explains Lisa, discussing how she came to choose her items. "It's a lot of products we like -- furniture pieces, fountains, tools. There's a lot of quality products at good prices, and the items that are on the site are products we buy for our own home."

The pair have also opened a second web site at http://www.XactlyDifrent.net, using this as a blog through which they can discuss items and sales with their customers. "I like the idea of communicating directly with customers," says Lisa. "I love seeing people happy. I love getting that lowest price in there, and beating the competition. People shouldn't have to pay a big price to have something nice in their home. I'm out to help the customer."

Lisa is also interested in helping her customers achieve their own dreams. "I want to get to know some of our customers who may even possibly want to start their own business. We're so diversified that we can help anyone who wants to specialize to set up their own business. If we get to know them, we can get them products that they want."
