Digital View unveiled the final member of the HE Harsh Environment LCD controller family at the Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum in San Diego California. Introduced in the COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) exhibition section of the forum, the new HE-1920 controller completed the high-performance offering in Digital View's advanced controller product family.
Morgan Hill, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2008 -- Digital View unveiled the final member of the HE Harsh Environment LCD controller family at the Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum in San Diego California. Introduced in the COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) exhibition section of the forum, the new HE-1920 controller completed the high-performance offering in Digital View's advanced controller product family.
The HE family now consists of three COTS compliant LCD controllers, each targeted at different segments of the market and specifically designed to withstand harsh environments. The controllers can each operate at -40C to +80C; support input power variations of up to +- 25%, have a MIL standard compliant conformal coating and use low mass tantalum capacitors to improve shock and vibration tolerance. The HE-1400 provides DVI and VGA interfaces for LCD panels up to WXGA resolution; the HE-1600 supports DVI, VGA, Composite, S-Video and Component input for LCD panels up to UXGA; the HE-1920 provides DVI, VGA, Composite, S-Video, and Component video inputs along with PIP windowing and other advanced features on LCD panel up to WUXGA resolution.
