Competition was as fierce as in previous years, and here at GP Bullhound we are proud to elevate these outstanding achievers. We hope that these awards will provide even greater momentum to our finalists in their respective fields as they continue to develop and grow
London, UK (PRWEB) March 26, 2008
Latitude Group, specialists in search engine optimisation and paid search, once again appears in the top half of the ranks of the Media Momentum Top 50 fastest growing companies, coming in at 23rd. In 2006, Latitude Group was the proud winner of the coveted Fastest Growing Company Award, and in 2007 was listed in the Top 20 Fastest Growing Digital Companies. The annual event, organised by investment bank GP Bullhound, recognises the fastest growing digital media companies in the UK.
At the Media Momentum Award ceremony, held last night at Sketch in London, just five companies selected from across the digital media industry took accolades. The entrants are ranked in a revenue-based league, and judged by a high-profile panel which this year included representatives from New Media Age, Olswang and 3i amongst others, with ECI Partners and search firm Spectrum as Award sponsors.
"Competition was as fierce as in previous years, and here at GP Bullhound we are proud to elevate these outstanding achievers. We hope that these awards will provide even greater momentum to our finalists in their respective fields as they continue to develop and grow," said Manish Madhvani, Co-founder and Partner, GP Bullhound.
Dylan Thwaites, Latitude Group CEO, commented, "Here at Latitude we always strive for excellence. This award highlights what we and the industry have known for some time -- this being our third year to take home a Media Momentum Top 50 award. I'd like to thank the whole Latitude team for their tremendous efforts. Without them and our loyal and growing customer base we would not be here today."
With offices in London and Cheshire and more than 100 employees, Latitude's unrivalled digital marketing expertise enable its clients to win new customers, accelerate revenues and build their brands on the Internet.
In 2008, Latitude, shortlisted for two Revolution awards, received a Highly Commended nomination for the SEO work done for one of its major blue-chip clients. In 2007 the agency won Netimperative's 'Search Campaign of the Year' award, reached a top ten position in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 league table, and was shortlisted for two of the year's National Business Awards. In 2006 the agency won the Media Momentum Award as Britain's fastest growing company, and was shortlisted again in 2007 and 2008. Also in 2006, Latitude's chief executive officer, Dylan Thwaites, was named by Ernst & Young as its Technology & Communications Entrepreneur of the Year.
