VIALECT (http://www.vialect.com) today announced that its revolutionary collaboration software and online service is being upgraded to Version 6. IntraNet V6 has been redesigned with a new user-friendly interface and has been engineered to take advantage of new Web 2.0 technologies.

"We spent a great deal of time and resources improving the processes of creating, categorizing and locating information within IntraNet V6".
IntraNet V6 has added a new search bar on every page that allows users to quickly search through categories of content on the site. Switching between categories is fast and doesn't require a page refresh.
A customizable tab system has also been added to the interface. Now each user can create personalized tabs and shortcuts to frequently accessed pages within IntraNet. The new tab system is a real time-saver for users.
To assist users in reviewing new content, a customizable "What's New" button is now available. It allows users to quickly review new information that has been added or modified to the site, within a specified period of time.
IntraNet V6 has also re-introduced a new Discussion Forum application. The new interface provides options for more efficient collaboration on company topics and projects. Users will benefit from the interface's familiar appearance and functionality.
VIALECT offers multiple deployment options for IntraNET V6. The new version is available in both an online service or local software installation. Companies are offered the option of having VIALECT host the software or they can purchase the software outright, and host it locally.
IntraNet is available in both Windows and Linux versions, and supports Microsoft SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL Databases. Free demos are available from the Vialect website.
