The RDI® Program Brings State-of-the-art Autism Technology to Sacramento

Sacramento, CA- The Relationship Development Intervention® Program leads the race to improve quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders through family, lifestyle and technology.

Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) March 30, 2008 -- The Relationship Development Intervention® Program leads the race to improve quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders through family, lifestyle and technology.

From April 4-5, 2008, Dr. Steve Gutstein will be presenting his 2-day workshop, "Going to the Heart of Autism" in Sacramento, California regarding Relationship Development Intervention® Program. Parents, professionals and educators will come to see Dr. Gutstein while taking part in the unveiling of over five years of development, innovative technology and the latest research, concluding in an operating system aimed at providing a worldwide community, instant access to the latest research and technology and finally continuing education, video e-learning and live access to Autism experts all in real time, all with the click of a button.

Going to the Heart of Autism
With over 5,000 families participating in the RDI® Program alone, and numbers growing everyday, the RDI Operating System provides imperative communication, access and learning capabilities for families with busy lifestyles and children isolated by location or their financial situation. The RDI® Program is different from "first generation" intervention programs because it is geared toward remediation. "The RDI program represents a completely new way of thinking about and treating the deficits that are common in all individuals on the autism spectrum," said Gutstein, co-director of The Connections Center. "We are challenging families and professionals to think beyond achieving mere functionality as a successful outcome for individuals with ASD; our reference point for success in the RDI® Program is fostering loving relationships and enhancing quality of life."
