United Protective, a Texas based contract security services company has moved its corporate headquarters office to 6500 Greenville Ave., in Dallas, Texas.

To keep up with continued growth, United Protective Services, a contract security company with headquarters in Dallas, Texas, recently moved to 6500 Greenville Avenue. The private security firm employs more than 400 security officers throughout the State of Texas.

Beginning in 1999, with just three employees, United Protective has grown to have offices in both Dallas and Houston while servicing operations in Austin, San Antonio, Ft. Worth, and Brownsville. "Our tremendous growth is really a testament to our partnership approach in doing business," stated Eddy Allen, the firm's founder.

"Moving into our new headquarters will ensure continuous growth and create more business partnership opportunities with new and existing clientele," stated Mr. Allen. Over the past 10 years, the contract security industry has grown by 5.4 percent annually, according to the Fredonia Group Inc., a Cleveland-based business-research firm. Dallas was rated as the number one metropolitan area in the United States for the aforementioned increase, while Houston was rated as the number seven city for growth prospects.

Andy Allen, Eddy's brother and business partner for the Houston office, remarked, "This is very exciting for me; combined, Eddy and I have over 40 years experience in the contract security industry," Andy stated. "The new headquarters will be better equipped to provide training, administration, accounting, employee and client support."

Today, United Protective security officers can be found primarily at high-rise office buildings, corporate complexes, retail shopping centers, shopping malls, gated communities, financial institutions, universities and hospitals. Its growth has been consistent, the reason according to Eddy is that, "we're picky about our customers; we want a partnership that will enhance the security program for our clients."
