What makes a great couple? SugarLoot.com wants to find out. The contest social networking site known for hosting fun and engaging contests such as Cutest Pet, Best Black and White Photo, and Biggest Sports Fan, has launched its newest contest - Best Couple - to see who makes the best romantic pair. Visitors to the site will decide the winning couple by rating each contest entry on a scale of 1-10. The winning couple will receive a $300 Travelocity® gift card. The Best Couple contest is open to anyone in a relationship - teenagers in love, engaged couples getting ready to tie the knot, or married couples long past their weddings. Entrants can add their own caption to the photos they upload and campaign for votes by posting their entries on MySpace, Facebook, and other websites. "The Best Couple contest is great because it's easy to enter or just plain fun to vote on other couples' pictures if you don't want to enter yourself," said Andrew Bender, SugarLoot's General Manager.
Entrants can submit whatever photo best captures them as a couple - anniversary pictures, vacation pictures, or even pictures of them goofing around with their loved one. A running tally of the scores will be displayed on a leader-board page so that entrants can see how America has voted and can upload new photos if they are not happy with their score.
SugarLoot members can become "fans" of other people on the site to get notified as soon as their friends enter a contest, and post comments on contest entries and profiles. Other contests currently running on SugarLoot include Best Smile, Prettiest Eyes, and Most Prized Possession. Some of the prizes being given away include iPods®, a $500 Target® gift card, and tickets to see the band Panic at the Disco in LA.
