SnapNow announced today that its Mobile Visual Search service was selected as a finalist in the Third Annual CTIA Emerging Technologies (E-Tech) Awards.

SnapNow announced today that its Mobile Visual Search service was selected as a finalist in the Third Annual CTIA Emerging Technologies (E-Tech) Awards.

The E-Tech Awards program gives industry recognition and acknowledges the best wireless products and services. A panel of industry analysts, media and technology experts reviewed nearly three hundred submissions from established and emerging companies and judged product entries based on innovation, creativity and vision. Finalists include, among others, Yahoo!, Accenture, Nokia, Motorola and Samsung. CTIA WIRELESS 2008®, takes place April 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Voting for SnapNow for the Best in Show Award can be done by texting code 345 to 868464 on Tuesday April 2.

Developed by engineers formerly of NASA's Jet Propulsion Labs, SnapNow's patented solution lets consumers snap a picture with a camera phone, send it to SnapNow via MMS or email, and receive an immediate mobile web-page in return.
