Los Angeles Orthodontist Introduces Televox T.LINK System to Practice
The software enables patients to confirm appointments, check account balances and receive informational newsletters and e-mails.
Los Angeles and Santa Monica, California (PRWEB) April 1, 2008 -- Los Angeles orthodontist Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen recently introduced new communication software to her practice that is designed to increase interaction among her patients and her practice.
T.LINK by Televox is a system that provides efficient online and e-mail communication.
The software is used in Nikaeen's office to send patients personalized, automatic appointment reminders, newsletters, cards for birthdays and other holidays and event announcements via e-mail, Nikaeen said. There also is a text message option available.
Nikaeen's staff also used the software to create and manage office and appointment schedules online. Patients can even view their account information online.
"This system gives patients access to information any time of day, any day of the week," Nikaeen said. "I believe it makes my office more accessible and provides more convenience."
Before implementing the software, a patient would have to call the office if they wanted to confirm their appointment date and time or check their account balance.
"Now patients don't have to risk being placed on hold by calling the office," Nikaeen said. "All the information is at their fingertips."
The system makes communication among doctors more convenient by enabling referring doctors to view x-rays and patient photos online.

About Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen
Dr. Nikaeen who is a Los Angeles orthodontist graduated with honors from dental school in 1993 and received a doctorate in dental surgery (DDS). She gained experience practicing general dentistry for several years before attending Columbia University School of Dentistry and Oral Surgeons in New York, where she earned her post-doctoral education in orthodontics and received an orthodontic specialty certificate.
In addition to running her practice, Dr. Nikaeen is a faculty member at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) Orthodontic Department and teaches orthodontic residents.
