Bannockburn Green Plants Arbor Day Trees for Kids and the Community

In recognition of Arbor Day, Bannockburn Green shopping center is giving to the environment--and the community--by planting recycled evergreen trees at Bannockburn Elementary School at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 24, 2008.

Bannockburn, IL (PRWEB) April 2, 2008 -- In honor of Arbor Day and setting a positive environmental example, the Ownership and Management of Bannockburn Green shopping center will be planting evergreen trees at Bannockburn Elementary School at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 24, 2008. Lawnmasters Landscaping will be assisting in the planting efforts. Bannockburn Green originally purchased the trees in December 2007 with the intention of donating them to the Bannockburn community.

Bannockburn Green hosted a holiday celebration and invited the children of the community to participate in the decorating of these beautiful trees.

This project is the shopping center's way of giving back to the community. In addition to adding to the area's natural beauty, the trees will serve multiple benefits in preserving the environment, providing cooling shade and animal habitats while enhancing school grounds for future generations.
