Meshcentric Launches THE "H_T " Ubiquitous Cellular Mobile Gaming WIFI Hot Spot at CTIA Las Vegas

CEO is confident the way forward in gaming is utilizing positioning services from cellular broadband carriers which incorporates a common denominator in virtual and real space. Imagine a war game that is controlled within its own virtual world but has real world GPS coordinates. The "H_T" is the conduit to this next level of client based gaming.

Las Vegas , NV (PRWEB) April 3, 2008 -- Meshcentric LLC an Oklahoma based firm defines a new gaming paradigm, the first mobile gaming router built for speed and power.Scott Fry CEO and the developer of the H_T said "first reaction when you see it is "What the hell is it? Is that a PSP? Then after it soaks in, your next reaction is H___T! Thus the device is called the H_T, a very attractive micro gaming hot spot device just entering the market from a experienced defense contractor called Meshcentric. Scott said "I was influenced by rogue gamers building incredibly powerful gaming computers. I was more attracted by the measure of performance driven accessories being used to optimize their over clocked CPUs which broke all the rules. I incorporated that same concept into the design of the H_T. Screw the rules and give me some more of that LED light show."

From shock mounts, fluorescent lighting and 2 way mirrored plexiglas with optional dielectric liquid cooling, this power packed device could cause a paradigm shift in home gamings modus operandi. Meshcentric also integrated a powerful WIFI board and amplified antenna that has a point to point reach of 1 mile, more if directional antennas are used. With a mobile 3-G infrastructure already in place, taking this cellular battery operated router from the home to the outdoors is now very much a reality. Gaming now becomes mobile, invoking GPS and moving targets in a virtual and real space sharing the common grid positioning system is the new paradigm. Here is what a VR (Virtual Reality) scenario might look like:

Your HUD (Heads Up Display) or arm mounted screen will show you virtual or real enemy activity. But be careful, enemy hackers might be spoofing more troops and enenmy aircraft in the areThen you will need to send a on the ground recon group or UAV to verify the activity. This could also be utilized in Urban Terrain scenarios where your company is taking on a live and virtual threat. Half the team maybe remotely engaged in assisting you against the cyber threat and managing the entire operation. This scenario is very similar to a Squadron Command in a TOC (Tactical Operations Command). The other part of the company is en route to the next geocache where the assignment is then downloaded. As you approach, it recognizes that you are within 30 yards of the designated position. It then deploys the next mission to your PDA. This area could be defined by setting it up in the game and uploading them as waypoints to the gaming software. Your next assignment is to progress toward 38.9 W 72.4 E and clear the area of enemy insurgents. Now it is easy to see where GPS now becomes the common denominator between virtual and real as both can exist and move the gamers onto a more physical virtual gaming application.

Meshcentric is co-developing a game called VR Warrior and will launch it Christmas 2008 that will get the gamers off their a** and start moving as a team or as an Army of one. It will engage exercise of the mental and induce physical activity. CEO Scott Fry says "As the children of our nation have a lower life expectancy than our current generation as a result of media driven home entertainment, this new mobile gaming conduit is indeed the way forward.

This approach makes it real and gives it a genuine feel. Meshcentric has operated with the military and understands the authenticity which must be integrated into a real game of this magnitude.. VR Warrior will be offered as a virtual training option to the military. Other uses of the H_T device that will evolve due to its size and power are very much expected.

In the car, connect the power adapter into a cigarette lighter and you are deploying wifi within 5280 feet of where ever you drive. The battery lasts for about 4 hours actually more than a cell phone. While in the car crank up Youtube and pipe it to your stereo. Alternatively you could put it in your suit coat pocket and deliver wifi to all of your students in your lecture that will automatically connect to the class website.

Meshcentric is also producing a waterproof model which will be a marine version for boaters wishing to have the utility of WIFI on board. From IP controlled sensors to video cameras this will be your remote conduit. Remote surveillance would be incredibly easy with this device. If you are fortunate enough to find battery operated IP cameras, you can operate up to 16 on one device in the middle of nowhere.

Meshcentric is currently installing small PTZ cameras with the H_T into vehicles to protect women that are currently being stalked. This has been successful in more than one occasion in the apprehension of these criminals. As the stalker follows the his victim, the video is transmitted live to a police officer to witness the crime. Then the criminal is apprehended and arrested with decisive proof. Keep an eye out for WASP(Women Against Stalkers and Predators).
