There are two ways players can get on board -- the first being the PokerNews WSOP Semi-Final Freerolls kicking off every Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning April 4. The second option is via the PokerNews $10+1 Qualifiers. These qualifiers are scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:00 EST beginning April 3. The top ten winners of these qualifiers receive entry to the next $12,000 Team PokerNews Freeroll. The first $12,000 Team PokerNews Freeroll will kick off on Friday May 9 at 20:15 EST. All entry requirements should be completed at least 24 hours prior to the start of every freeroll.

Winners of a $12,000 Team PokerNews Freeroll receive entry to the $10,000 Main Event (July 3), plus $2,000 for travel and accommodation.
