Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives Announce Board and Officer Election Results

The Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives Board of Directors recently held both general and officer elections.

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) April 5, 2008 -- The Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives Board of Directors recently held both general and officer elections.

In conjunction with its annual meeting in Anaheim, Calif., and its spring board meeting in Phoenix, Ariz., Touchstone Energy Cooperatives have announced the results of recent board and officer elections.

Newly elected to the board are Mark Schwirtz, CEO/General Manager, Trico Electric Cooperative (Marana, Ariz.); Dan Brown, CEO/General Manager, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (Troy, Mo.); Les Penning, Senior Vice President Strategic Development, Powder River Energy Corporation (Sundance, Wyo.); and Mark Pendergast, President & CEO, St. Croix Electric Cooperative (Hammond, Wis.).

Mike Sims, General Manager, Butler REC (Oxford, Ohio) and Charles Castleberry, General Manager, Swisher Electric (Tulia, Texas) were re-elected President and Vice President and Doug Pryce, Director, United Power, Inc. (Brighton, Colo.) was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Nelle Hotchkiss, Senior Vice President Corporate Relations, North Carolina EMC (Raleigh, N.C.) was selected to fill the at-large position on the executive committee while Whit Hollowell, CEO, Coastal Electric Cooperative (Midway, Ga.) was re-elected for an at-large position on the budget committee. These officers will serve one year terms now through spring of 2009.
