Demand for Dermaxin Escalates on Heels of FDA Botox Report

Dermaxin, a powerful, topical wrinkle-relaxant and collagen-booster has been flying off the shelves as consumers seek new safe but effective alternatives to eliminate wrinkles.

(PRWEB) April 5, 2008 -- Dermestetics Cosmeceuticals, a company known to push the envelope with technologically advanced skin care products has seen a rise in sales due to the recent FDA reports on botulinum. Dermaxin™, a powerful, topical wrinkle-relaxant and collagen-booster has been flying off the shelves as consumers seek new safe but effective alternatives to eliminate wrinkles. Dermaxin poses no risk of side effects such as damaged nerves or in extreme cases death that botulinum can impose.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration notified the public February 8, 2008 about harmful side effects of Botox and Botox Cosmetic (Botulinum toxin Type A) and Myobloc (Botulinum toxin Type B). These popular, medically administered injections have been linked in some cases to adverse reactions, including respiratory failure and death, following treatment of a variety of conditions using a wide range of doses. Dermaxin is a safe alternative to treating the unwanted signs of aging including wrinkles, frown lines and loose skin. Dermaxin's demand has soared since consumers have been made aware of the potential risks involved with Botox or similar botulinum treatments. The adverse reactions of botulinum are related to the spread of the toxin to areas distant from the site of injection, and mimic symptoms of botulism, which may include difficulty swallowing, weakness and breathing problems. Dermaxin provides an effective alternative that does not put consumers at risk of health related concerns.

"Developing a product that delivers the most comprehensive wrinkle treatment to the needs of consumers, while posing no harmful risks or side effects is a notion that Dermestetics Cosmeceuticals prides itself on," says Sarah Fornicella, Director of Marketing. "Dermaxin is the only product of its kind that delivers fast effective treatment to tired, wrinkled skin without leaving skin and muscle tissue damaged for life. This is a new wave to consumers looking for safe alternatives to drastic medical procedures while still delivering dramatic results to their skins appearance."

Dermaxin's topical cream has been clinically tested and proven to be a more advanced yet safer alternative to botulinum treatments with its liposome delivery system that goes deep beneath the skin's surface for optimum results. Botulinum treatments require several injections and pose risk of injury to facial muscles or worse poisoning the skin and its underlying muscle tissue which can cause permanent, harmful damage. Dermaxin can repair the wrinkles by 40% with a topical cream in just one application, safely.
