A local career college with Valley roots has acquired an international perspective with the promotion of Kristen Torres as the Associate Campus Director of Pima Medical Institute, 957 S. Dobson Road in Mesa. Torres started working with PMI in the Admissions Support Center and most recently served as the Corporate Director of Business Development.

Dobson Road in Mesa. Torres started working with PMI in the Admissions Support Center and most recently served as the Corporate Director of Business Development.
    
Prior to joining PMI, Torres worked as the International Admissions Manager for the University of Phoenix Online for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as serving as a Program Manager in Munich, Germany for Compaq/Hewlett Packard. She has traveled to 35 different countries and lived in five different countries (including the U.S) in the past 11 years.
            
Founded by Richard Luebke Sr. and his wife, JoAnn, the privately-owned, Arizona-based company opened its first career college in Tucson in 1972. The Mesa campus has been in operation since 1986.
