Minnesota Golf Fitness Center Trains University Golfers with Unique Combination of Services

Body Balance for Performance-Minnesota has always had a distinctive approach to golf fitness. Now they offer golfers a glimpse of the unique golf training services that have earned them the privilege of training both the men's and women's golf teams for the University of Minnesota.

Bloomington, Minn. (PRWEB) April 7, 2008 -- Body Balance for Performance-Minnesota has always had a distinctive approach to golf fitness. Now they offer golfers a glimpse of the unique golf training services that have earned them the privilege of training both the men's and women's golf teams for the University of Minnesota.

Body Balance for Performance clinicians perform a complete golf fitness evaluation on each client using advanced golf fitness technology that includes the Dynamic Balance System, the Body Motion System, and the Explanar hoop. Each golfer is given instant feedback and can view the results on a large screen.

We take a look at the areas of the body that require improvement. Perhaps the golfer has an old shoulder injury that needs to be addressed.
"These systems show us the body mechanics of each golfer and how their body is affecting their swing," said Jeremiah Hales of Body Balance for Performance-Minnesota (http://www.bodybalancemn.com/). "We take a look at the areas of the body that require improvement. Perhaps the golfer has an old shoulder injury that needs to be addressed."

After the golf fitness evaluation, Body Balance's physical therapists perform a comprehensive medical evaluation. They combine this information with the previous evaluation, and form a golf fitness plan unique to each client.

Body Balance's therapists have also been certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, and they have been working with Tom House of Major League Baseball to implement foundational strengthening into each program.

The program includes hands-on manual physical therapy, personalized exercises and a strengthening program, and each client's personal Titleist website that features their program information and video of their exercise program.

Body Balance for Performance-Minnesota also employs a licensed and certified Chinese medicine specialist to use acupuncture to treat some conditions that limit golfers' games. Acupuncture has successfully benefited a number of golfers with conditions such as tight muscles, tennis elbow, back pain and hip pain.

According to Hales, golf fitness clients will find that the golf training program improves balance, strength and flexibility, encourages greater accuracy and consistency, and decreases injuries, fatigue, and body aches and pains.

"Most people start their Body Balance program just to improve their golf game and earn bragging rights with their foursome," said Hales. "However, they're surprised by the end result. They get a healthier body, less pain and a better swing."
