New Software Kit Turns Recipes into Family Cookbooks; Available Now for Mother's Day
The Cookbook People, LLC, has released Matilda's Fantastic Family Cookbook Kit in time for Mother's Day. The kit features software and printing materials - everything a mom needs to make a family cookbook at home.
Boise, ID (PRWEB) April 10, 2008 -- CookbookPeople.com has announced the release of a new kit designed to make it easier for families to create a cookbook from home. "Matilda's Fantastic Family Cookbook Kit" ($37.90 MSRP) includes a copy of Matilda's Fantastic Cookbook Software and an Easy Bind Kit.
This kit builds on the enormous success of Matilda's Fantastic Cookbook Software. Released less than six months ago, it is now the best selling Cooking and Health software on Amazon. The software combines a simple interface with 27 different family cookbook templates, ranging from religious to ethnic to contemporary. In addition, it allows the user to easily add a table of contents, address book, birthday calendar and family tree.
The Easy Bind Kit allows the user to print a family cookbook designed with the software on his or her own printer. Because the sheets have holes on one side, a plastic spine easily snaps into place to quickly bind the book together. The kit also features two clear plastic sheets that protect the front and back cover from spills.
"We had this great software that everybody loves," says Owner Erin Miller. "But it showed us a new opportunity. Many of our customers feel intimidated at copy shops, and three-ring binders are clunky. By including the kit with the software, grandmas and gurus alike can print and bind their family cookbook right from home."
Customers have been enthusiastic about the product, both in the U.S. and abroad. "I don't have hundreds of recipes on single sheets of paper anymore, my cookbook looks so professional now and I am proud of it," said Lana Olson from Albany, Western Australia. "The support and help I got from The Cookbook People was amazing."
Writing professionals have also been enthusiastic. "I don't know how I managed before I found it," said Kathryn Carriere of Houston, TX. "I am a published author of one cookbook that really didn't come out (as well as I wanted) because of the other programs that I was using. Now, with this program, my cookbooks will be so much better."
The Cookbook People also sells the Easy Bind Kits separately for those who wish to make more than one family cookbook. "People often start out thinking they just want to print out a family cookbook for themselves," Erin says. "But then they realize it's easy and fun to print out 10 or 15 books for friends and relatives. Because the kits can be bought for as little as $4.95 each, depending on quantity, it can be an inexpensive gift too. And it's such a personal gift!"
The family cookbook kits and the software are all available at many scrap booking stores, Amazon.com and CookbookPeople.com.
