Alumni Golf Tournament Expanded

De Winter Golf Enterprises announces expanded schedule.

De Winter Golf Enterprises (http://www.dewintergolfenterprises.com) has revealed a new expanded schedule for the 2008/2009 Alumni Golf Tournament. The thirty-four week event will create a substantial new playing field and will feature competition between 1900 colleges and universities.

April, 2008 through June, 2009 will be the timetable in which the events will occur. Florida Gulf Coast will be the venue for this year's Alumni Golf Tournament. The Conference Alumni Challenge Series will include various establishments such as:

  • Division One
  • Division Two
  • Division Three
  • NAIA
  • Jr. Colleges
De Winter Golf Enterprises designed the Alumni Golf Tournament in regards to the promotion of team competition and camaraderie between college and university alumni all around.

The tournament also raises funds for various scholarship funds. In addition, DGE also announces its new acquired Three Year corporate partnership with COSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). This in turn will help generate scholarship funds from within the COSIDA family of colleges and universities. DGE would also like to recognize our following partnerships:

  • Heineken USA/Amstel Light
  • Budget Rent-A-Car
  • Double Eagle Tour
  • Pro Am Golf Center
In addition, individuals and teams will also be competing for over $1,800,000 in amateur approved prize certificates.

The Golf Club at Cypress Creek will also host all thirty-four weeks of CAC competition. The Crown Plaza and Embassy Suites will be furnishing all the accommodations; with the idyllic setting being the Florida Gulf Coast.
