The Krystal Company To Auction Special 75th Anniversary Coca-Cola Bottle For Charity

All Proceeds from eBay Auction to Benefit the Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Chattanooga, TN (PRWEB) April 11, 2008 -- The Krystal Company announced today that it will auction on eBay a specially issued Coca-Cola bottle commemorating the fast food icon's 75th anniversary, with all of the proceeds from the sale benefiting the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The 8-oz. Coke collectible is bottle No. 75 from a limited run of 500 produced exclusively for Krystal employees and not available to the general public.

The commemorative item is personally signed by James F. Exum Jr., president and CEO of The Krystal Company, and is presented in a red, drawstring bag embossed with the Krystal logo. The bottle is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, which is also numbered and signed by Exum.

Bidding on eBay for the one-of-a-kind item will begin April 11 at noon and end April 21 at noon. It will be listed under the seller name "krystalcompany".

The oldest quick service restaurant in the South and the second oldest in the United States, Krystal has been serving Coca-Cola products ever since it opened its first restaurant on October 24, 1932, on the corner of Seventh and Cherry Streets in downtown Chattanooga.
