Netriplex announced today that it has achieved SAS 70 Type II certification for its Asheville, North Carolina datacenter.

SAS 70 is the industry recognized "gold standard" for certification of data center information technology processes. The auditors, from a CPA firm which specializes in information security, closely reviewed numerous processes and controls relating to physical and network security, data security and integrity, disaster recovery, secure storage and other such operations. Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No.70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A SAS 70 audit validates that a service organization has completed an in-depth audit of their control objectives and activities, which include controls over information technology and related processes.
