2006 Recalled Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair
"It has recently come to the attention of Mart Products, Inc. that previously recalled and rejected Ostrich 3N1 beach chairs™ are allegedly being sold online by Campingstation.com," said Marvin Gorovitz, president of Mart Products, Inc. "Please be aware that CampingStation.com is not, nor has ever been, an authorized dealer for the Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chairs."
The chairs in question were rejected by Mart Products, Inc. and recalled from the marketplace after inspections three years ago. Those results indicated rotting wood armrests and defective leg rest adjusters, which could possibly break under pressure and result in severe bodily harm to the user. UPC coding (186207000361), and the words, 'Made in China' on the armrest will help consumers identify the chairs as recalled Mart Products, Inc. merchandise, Gorovitz said.
"These recalled beach chairs were not intended for sale to the public," Gorovitz said. "We urge buyers to be aware that these Ostrich beach chairs, if purchased, carry no manufacturer's warranties, whether implied or not, and Mart Products, Inc. should be held harmless in case of accidents or bodily harm. We at Mart Products, Inc. take all precautions to ensure that our products are first quality so that they give years of pleasure and enjoyment to the owners."
