Singer/Songwriter Releases Memoir on Divine Intervention
Recalls times God nurtured her through infancy stages of spirituality.
Longwood, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- Combining expert storytelling and teaching, Maureen M. Gouveia-Whitehead's debut, Morvet's Memoirs: God's Divine Intervention and Protection (paperback, 978-1-60477-793-2), was written as a testimony for others to learn from and be encouraged by. The book, which recently arrived at bookstores, illustrates how spirituality and the "seeing is believing" way of thinking are intertwined, as well as how we, in the infancy stages of our spirituality and through immaturity, can miss the true meaning of what certain occurrences and circumstances represent in and throughout our lives.
Says Gouveia-Whitehead, "My goal for writing each memoir is to bring insight, enabling the recognition of God's divine intervention in our lives in order to truly protect us from traps set for us without us being aware of them. Instead of relying on our own superstitious instincts, we need to realize we have been blessed with a discerning spirit that is not produced carnally but is a gift from God."
A singer/songwriter and motivational speaker, the author says writing and singing are dear to her heart because she is able to continue encouraging and motivating her readers and listeners through her works. She released a Christian music CD titled "God Is Real--Try Him" (under the name Maureen Gee) in the past and has future plans to continue writing (and singing) to the glory of God.
