InventHelp® Client Invents "Fire Robot" -- An Invention That Could Provide Firefighters with Remote-Controlled Assistance
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 18, 2008 -- InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Chula Vista, Calif., has designed a remote-controlled firefighting unit. This invention is patented.
The "Fire Robot" could enable firefighters to extinguish a fire from a safe distance. The unit was invented to reduce property damage, loss of life and insurance claims associated with fires. The device would be adjustable according to the severity of the fire. The apparatus would employ water and fire retardant chemicals to fight fires. The machine would be capable of navigating mountains and canyons and would be easy to operate.
The Fire Robot would consist of a Military tank-like unit, which would be producible from spacecraft-grade materials. The unit would feature a pressured water pump with the capacity to dispense 3,000 gallons of water per minute, six spouts for water emission, a pressure pump containing fire retardant chemicals, four spouts to release the chemicals, three water pressure pumps and an array of video camera and special lighting. The unit's drive system would consist of a 12-cylinder, diesel-powered motor, a transmission and a differential that allows the unit to pull its own weight. An accompanying water pump vehicle would connect to the unit by a fire-retardant hose. The pump vehicle would incorporate a similar 12-cylinder diesel engine and camera array and have a capacity of 25,000 gallons of water or water-fire retardant mixture.
The unit would be operated via a satellite-based remote control. The remote control would be used to maneuver the unit, control the cameras, operate the fire pump and regulate the direction and pressure of the water spouts. Four monitors would be featured on the remote control and displaying output from the cameras.
