Innovation Entertainment Announces Start Of Submission Period For April 2008 Low Budget Love Music Competition
This monthly contest was founded on the belief that "you don't have to spend a lot of money to make quality music that people will love." This opportunity gives unsigned or independent artists, musicians and songwriters a chance to win cash prizes, have their music considered for future licensing opportunities and be heard by a pool of industry professionals, including Grammy award winners and chart-toppers.
Venice, California (PRWEB) April 20, 2008 -- Innovation Entertainment is now accepting submissions for the April 2008 round of the Low Budget Love Music Competition.
At Innovation Entertainment, we believe in music. As a way to encourage songwriters to continuously develop their craft, we created the Low Budget Love Music Competition. Our contest was founded on the belief that "you don't have to spend a lot of money to make quality music that people will love."
The monthly subscription based music competition gives songwriters and artists the chance to win cash prizes, gain industry access, obtain potential licensing opportunities, and have their music heard by industry professionals, including Grammy award winners and chart-toppers.
Current judges include:
Michael Sembello- Grammy award winning songwriter, scored chart success writing and performing the song "Maniac" from the movie "Flashdance". He has recorded, written, and produced songs for some of the industry's greats, including Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Barbara Streisand, The Temptations and Sergio Mendez.
Tim Carmon- Renowned musician, songwriter and producer has performed, toured, written and produced for artists as diverse as Eric Clapton, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Queen Latifah, Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Gladys Knight, B.B. King, Jamie Foxx, Earth Wind and Fire, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock and Mary J. Blige. Most recently, he contributed musical arrangements for the major motion picture adaptation of Dreamgirls (with R&B producers, The Underdogs).
