InventHelp Client Invents Mousetrap That Would Improve Capture Rate

An InventHelp client from Plainfield, Ill., has designed a mousetrap that would hold bait securely for greater effectiveness.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 22, 2008 -- InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Plainfield, Ill., has designed a mousetrap that would hold bait securely for greater effectiveness. The inventor has created a prototype.

The Gotcha! Mousetrap would prevent mice from stealing bait, and would feature a more sensitive trigger. This invention is designed to help users to kill more mice quicker and with less effort. The reusable device could be baited with a variety of foods, including cheese, bacon or peanut butter. Also, the Gotcha! Mousetrap could be produced as a rat trap.

A need to control a rodent problem on his own property inspired the inventor to develop the Gotcha! Mousetrap. "As the saying goes, I literally needed to build a better mousetrap," he said. "With conventional traps, the rodents kept stealing the bait and getting away."

The original design was submitted to the Lombard office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
