Care.com to Honor Moms, Babysitters, Nannies and Other Family Caregivers
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) April 22, 2008 -- With Mother’s Day approaching, Care.com is sponsoring the 1st Annual Celebrating Care Heroes contest – a chance for individuals to recognize special caregivers that have impacted their lives.
The company is looking for real life care heroes to be the new face of Care.com. Through May 31, 2008, interested applicants can visit www.CareHero.com to tell Care.com about what makes their mothers, daughters, wives, babysitters, nannies, or even themselves deserving of the title of Care Hero. Two grand prize winners will be featured in Care.com national TV commercials, in addition to being awarded a $400 American Express gift card and a $100 spa gift certificate.
“May is a time when we pay tribute to moms for all their love and hard work,” said Sheila Marcelo, Founder and CEO of Care.com. “We thought it was fitting to honor not only mothers, but the many caregivers out there who provide love and support to families on a daily basis.”
To enter, applicants can visit www.CareHero.com and simply answer the question: “What makes your Care Hero special?” Emails and photos can be sent to CareHero(at)care.com. If you or your Care Hero is a natural in front of the camera, upload a video to You Tube and send a link with your submission to CareHero(at)care.com.
