Shleppers Supports Bottomless Closet, and Moves Into Spring!

New York's Top Mover Teams up with a NYC Charity, and Helps Customers Get Organized

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 24, 2008 -- Beginning in May, Shleppers Moving & Storage (http://www.Shleppers.com) will join forces with Bottomless Closet (http://www.bottomlessclosetnyc.org) to help economically disadvantaged New York City women.

Bottomless Closet is well-known in New York City for providing business clothing and career development in support of underprivileged New York City women. Thanks to its new alliance, Shleppers will now offer customers free pickup of suitable women's business clothing for donation, delivering them to Bottomless Closet at no additional cost on moving day. Shleppers will also help Bottomless Closet with its scheduled pickups from other corporate partners on an ongoing basis.

"Spring is the season of new beginnings, and the perfect time for us to join forces with Bottomless Closet," says Shleppers founder and CEO Louisa Benjamin-Bohm. "Our customers can take advantage of their move as a great opportunity to organize and de-clutter -- while giving back to New York."

Moving provides a vital opportunity to donate or dispose of unused or unnecessary items. "It's easy to sort while you pack -- schools and charities are always in need of books, toys and clothing items," adds Bohm. "If you haven't used it, don't move it -- donate it! It's good for both the community and the environment."

Shleppers also recommends using private storage as a way to take advantage of the change of seasons. "It's an affordable way to free up premium living and closet space by storing off-season or little-used items," advises Bohm. "Many of our storage customers do this with great success, even on a budget."
