IVR Technologies Announces the Release of Talking SIP 3.4
IVR Technologies, Inc. releases new revenue generating services and feature enhancements for their third generation SIP-Based media, application and real-time b illing server.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 28, 2008 -- IVR Technologies, a leading software developer of IP enhanced services and real-time billing solutions, announced today the availability of Talking SIP 3.4. Talking SIP is a fully-integrated application, media, and billing server providing class 4/5 switching, registration, location services and enhanced services to service providers worldwide. Talking SIP 3.4 continues to build upon the value proposition of the product by adding greater end-user control and new innovative services that drive additional revenue and margin to the service provider's network. This release makes further advancements in streamlining the management of the solution and reducing business overheads resulting in less time required managing the technology and more time available for managing one's business. Talking SIP 3.4 adds new innovative services and end-user empowered features that help to attract subscribers and reduce churn, while highlighting the flexibility, power and control that the next-generation network has to offer.
"Talking SIP 3.4 represents a significant development effort in adding new costing and network administration features as well as a very robust PBX and messaging module. Through the newly added Voicemail and PBX Module, service providers can now offer their own virtual PBX/MBX services to enterprises and consumers along with a feature rich voice mail system, custom auto-attendant, and/or audio text system. The new module is designed so that service providers can offer these services on a hosted basis to attract other network operators through white label programs. We have seen margins continue to be eroded in the long distance market and a great way for service providers to re-build their margins is to differentiate themselves from their competition through value added and innovative services that empower the end user and streamline the user experience. Our core objective has always been to deliver innovative retail applications to our customers that drive revenue and build margin to their networks and Talking SIP 3.4 greatly improves on our ability to do so," said Barry Sher, VP Business Development, IVR Technologies, Inc.
The following is a brief overview of some of the features and functionality embodied within this release:
Hosted PBX Services - A full-featured hosted PBX service for enterprise customers. Features include hunt groups (via our integrated Find Me module), do not disturb, forward on busy, no answer, outbound call blocking, full level class 5 feature support (busy call return, call forwarding, call masking) to name but a few. The PBX features are tightly integrated into the auto attendant and audio text facilities as well as the Termination Module and optional Find Me Module to help round out the solution.
Voicemail with Unified Messaging - Full featured voicemail system with enhanced functionality for message distribution and message waiting indication to IP phones, e-mail addresses and PSTN/IP telephones. The system includes unlimited greetings by time of day, day of week and date range as well as several record modes to support such services as silent monitoring and quick record for mobile note taking. This module integrates into any SMTP mail system for unified communication and includes a toll saver mode for tariff savings during message retrieval. Add our optional End-user web interface so users can listen and manage their messages directly from the web.
Auto-attendant - Provide unlimited auto-attendants with first or last name directory listings, ideally suited for hosted services to an unlimited number of enterprise customers. The auto-attendant can be tied into the audio text system for customer specific menu tree selection and call routing.
Audio Text - Provide unlimited depth menu trees for IVR prompting and call routing based on user selection. Coupled with the auto attendant application, service providers can offer facilities-based or hosted white label services complete with customer specific auto attendant and menu tree selections.
Streamlined Management - Talking SIP 3.4 streamlines how devices are managed allowing a range of IP addresses to be provisioned with a single entry. This release also greatly streamlines rate management when using Rate Tiers by allowing user defined rate settings to be derived at the underlying Rate Plan level as opposed to being set at each Rate Tier.
Reporting - Talking SIP 3.4 includes 115 standard reports/templates! New reports include gross margin reports to help analyze profitability and call session reports to help monitor and resolve customer issues.
Costing - Support for calculating costs for both inbound and outbound calls allowing accurate measurement of profitability of different campaigns. Using the same powerful rating engine for costing Talking SIP provides great control and flexibility on how costs are calculated based on DNIS, ANI, start and end date/ time, and day of week, as well as being able to implement tiered costing to change the cost and how it is calculated over the duration of a call.
Session Activity Logging - To assist customer service representatives with resolving caller issues (such as authentication and authorization failures, timeouts, language selection, and digit entry failures) Talking SIP now offers detailed call session activity logging for each customer account.

Talking SIP 3.4 is available for immediate download from the IVR Help Portal for all customers who are within a valid support agreement. The optional PBX/Voicemail module is available separately and at an additional cost.
