AgileThought Named one of Tampa Bay's "Best Places to Work"

The award recognizes companies that cultivate a positive working environment, and attract and retain employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company philosophy.
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) April 26, 2008 -- AgileThought, Inc., is pleased to announce being named a finalist in the Tampa Bay Business Journal's 2008 "Best Places to Work" awards program. The award recognizes companies that cultivate a positive working environment, and attract and retain employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company philosophy.

This is the first year that AgileThought has been nominated for the award. In all, 58 companies were recognized as finalists. AgileThought was a finalist in the "Nearly Big" category (26-50 employees). The nominations for the "Best Places to Work" award were submitted to the Tampa Bay Business Journal web site, and qualified nominations were then evaluated by an outside research firm which surveyed employees through questionnaires. Various company attributes were addressed; ranging from tangible perks and benefits such as health insurance, employee training and stock options to the more intangible culture-related attributes such as open communication, achievement recognition and people practices. Employees were also asked to specify the most and least favorable aspects of their company.
The winning companies had the highest rankings based on statistical rankings and analysis of the employee responses. Common themes among the top companies include work-life balance, relationships with co-workers and immediate supervisors, caring for employees, spirited teamwork, and commitment to community.
