All employees of each nominated company were given an opportunity to complete an online survey developed by Kansas-based QMR Market Research. The winners were selected based on a rigorous statistics-based process that factored employee measurement of attributes known to drive employee engagement, as well as categories such as team effectiveness, individual contribution, manager effectiveness and feeling valued.
