Chilli Seeks 'Dumb, Dumb, Dumb' Dancers

TLC's Chilli launches dance contest to celebrate new single and solo project.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 29, 2008 -- TLC's Chilli returns with a new solo act, a hot new single, and a new promotional dance campaign. The "sexy" third of TLC's crazy, sexy, cool girl trio has returned, with a new single "Dumb, Dumb, Dumb;" to the relief of many die hard TLC fans. To kick off promotions, Chilli is sponsoring a "Dumb, Dumb, Dumb" dance campaign that will grant several lucky fans the opportunity to perform live onstage with her in concert.

"I have always been big on performance. TLC was known for dancing and that's something that's really important to me," Chilli said during a recent interview with Rolling Out TV. "Dumb, Dumb, Dumb" is a club banger and we need a dance to go with the record. I can't wait to see what the fans are going to come up with." Contestants are asked to create a cutting edge dance routine to Chilli's brand new single "Dumb, Dumb, Dumb" and upload their video to youtube, then send the youtube link to chillisdancecontest@gmail.com. The hottest videos will be displayed on Chilli's myspace page at www.myspace.com/chillisdancecontest. Five winners will be chosen to perform live with Chilli during her upcoming summer promotional tour.

But I don't want people to think it's a male bashing record. There are dumb females out there too.
Two weeks ago Chilli premiered her new single, "Dumb, Dumb, Dumb" on Atlanta's V-103 alongside former group member T-Boz. The song gained favorable responses from music blogsites across the country. Written by hit songwriter Cri$tyle "the ink" and production team Battery 5, "Dumb, Dumb, Dumb" is an infectious R&B pop mix that translates effortlessly from radio to the club. "As soon as I heard the record I fell in love with it. It's like a 08 version of 'No Scrubs'," Chilli revealed. "But I don't want people to think it's a male bashing record. There are dumb females out there too."

Chilli's Dance Contest will kick off on Monday, April 28, all entries must be uploaded to youtube no later than Saturday, May 30th. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 2, 2008. For more information visit: www.myspace.com/chillisdancecontest.
