(PRWEB) April 30, 2008 -- West Midlands based Sports and Leisure Equipment Supplier, Maudesport Ltd, have announced plans for continued expansion of their specialised sports equipment supply service to School Sports Partnerships. The service caters exclusively for the educational sector in order to provide a seamless provision of sports equipment packs across multiple locations.
Maudesport offer a huge range of sports, play and junior activity products through their catalogue and website www.maudesport.com and have an established history of supplying schools, Local Authorities, government establishments and leisure centres. They recently provided East Staffs School Sport Partnership with an extensive range of products for their newly launched Active Lunchtime Programme, run by Partnership Development Manager Andy Mawdsley.
Andy, based at Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Sports College in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, has 47 schools in the Active Lunchtime Programme. "Obviously, negotiating the provision for this type of project is integral to ensuring the success of the scheme. The supplier has to exhibit integrity and understanding of the aims of the project, but equally as important was Maudesport's ability to accommodate our individual requirements and their commitment to help us provide equipment for the programme efficiently and effectively".
Maudesport supplied all of the equipment and external storage facilities for the scheme. Audrey McNought, National Field Sales Manager, personally oversees the School Sports Partnership area of business and is keen to espouse its advantages.
"Nowadays, there are very few school sports equipment suppliers that are able to offer this kind of specialised service on this scale. In this instance, Andy wanted to create his own equipment packs to suit his Active Lunchtime Programme of activities. We worked closely together to determine precisely what each equipment kit should contain. We then ensured that the external store boxes were delivered before we sent the equipment direct into the schools. It's an excellent example of the sort of project in which Maudesport increasingly finds involved."
Maudesport have plans to develop the service online at their new website www.maudesport.com . The website is set to feature more details about the range of specialised sports equipment supply packages and custom-made sports and activity equipment kits that the company offer. It's regarded as an ideal vehicle to increase awareness of the range and diversity of sports and leisure equipment and custom options that the company provide.
Nick Palmer, Maudesport's Sales and Marketing Director, commented "We've seen a big growth in demand for activity equipment packs that are created individually to suit the customers particular requirements. We possess both the expertise to produce the sports equipment kits and also the experience to cope with the logistic challenges of multiple destination deliveries. There's plenty to suggest that demand will continue to rise."
